Connecting Energy Reflex Therapy
Workshop 1 (Morning Workshop)
The Gentle Birth Method
Workshop 2 (Afternoon Workshop)
In this workshop we will combine Reflexology and Energy to provide a more targeted therapy. As long as a person can feel with their fingers, they can practice this process. We will explore the awakening of intuition, the ability to sense instead of feel and as a result encourage deeper states of relaxation and healing.
• The Law of Attraction(on all levels of being)and how this impacts on our life
Massage Table or Reflexology Chair
Balm or cream
Note: participants using a Reflexology Chair must have chair use included on their insurance.
In this this workshop we will be introduced to the Jeyarani schedule of Creative Healing massage techniques. Throughout pregnancy, Creative Healing treatments focus mainly on the spine, pelvic area, sciatic areas and sacrum, because the health and mobility of these areas are directly related to the birthing process. However, as birth is a function of the whole body, the Jeyarani schedule of Creative Healing has been developed to align the energy flows in every system of the body and includes treatments for the heart, liver, lungs, pancreas and gut at relevant times during the pregnancy.
Liz was an engaging and inspirational speaker at our September 2016 General Meeting where she took us on her journey to Reflexology, and the discovery of the Gentle Birth Method and training with Holistic Obstetrician Dr Gowri Motha in the UK. This training encouraged her to learn more through the midwifery course and eventually the practice of this amazing method. Dr Motha pioneered the use of Reflexology for pregnant mothers in London in 1987. She then set up “The Gentle Birth Preparation Programme” (now called “The Jeyarani Way” Gentle Birth Method) that included Reflexology as one of the main components.
