Association structure

Structure of the RAoA

The RAoA is governed by a national Board comprising six directors, each with specific responsibilities. This includes a Chairperson and Secretary. Their oversight is national and they are responsible for governance and management of the RAoA.

Directors are members of the RAoA and are elected from each state. Their role includes representing the interests of each state branch and supporting communication between the Board and state branches.

Six state branches are governed by locally elected committees. Their role is to manage local events, promote RAoA services and benefits and help work towards delivering the Association’s mission in each state.
