Our vision is to be the leading national representative body of reflexology; to promote reflexology as an effective complementary therapy and a core component within an integrated health care system in Australia.
Mission
Our mission is to:
- Promote awareness of the benefits of reflexology.
- Advocate on behalf of our members and represent reflexology in public, government and health arenas.
- Support knowledge sharing and best practices including evidence-based studies and research.
- Provide professional support for our members, continued professional training opportunities, conferences and other incentivising programmes.
Values
Diversity and inclusion
Reflexology is an inclusive therapy suitable for all people regardless of age, gender, disability, identities, religion, political affiliation, ethnicity, income level, language and education.
Collaborative
We prioritise collaboration and communication. We welcome ideas and the opportunity to brainstorm and connect. We are open to learning from one another, respecting our varied backgrounds and experience.

VolunteeringÂ
We are proud to acknowledge the work and commitment of more than 100 members who volunteer by donating their skills and time to help run the RAoA. Our association at both national and state levels is managed and run almost entirely through the volunteer efforts of our Board, working parties and local branches. Â
We acknowledge the time and energy given freely and generously by many of our members who work tirelessly to advance the interests of the reflexology industry and support fellow reflexologists.
The Reflexology Association of Australia is a member of Volunteering Queensland (Australia)Â www.volunteeringaustralia.org. Â This provides us with information and support so that we may appropriately recognise and support our volunteers.
