For new members, once we have received and confirmed your qualifications or course registration (students only), you will receive a letter of welcome and website login details.
Prospective  members may choose from one of the following categories based on their eligibility criteria.  For further information on membership requirements, click here.
Please note, the fees quoted below include the $60 administration fee when joining as a new member or rejoining as a lapsed member.  Student membership is excluded from this additional fee until they upgrade to Associate or Professional.
Please retain copies your certificates.  If you are chosen as part of a random audit, you will be asked to provide those copies.

Membership Category Benefits, Eligibility and instructions Fee

Student (SM)

Membership expires 2 years after enrolment.
To be eligible for student membership you must be Currently studying Diploma HLT52515 or approved Certificate of Clinical Reflexology (CoCR).  You are required to send us a certified copy of your course enrolment (see below re certification).

1st & 2nd year FREE
3rd year please register as Associate or Professional Member

Associate (AM)

Anyone with an interest in reflexology who wants to keep up-to-date with industry and Association news as well as upcoming workshop events.
It is not a requirement of Associate Membership that the person be qualified in reflexology.

Professional (PM)

Qualifications  required are the achievement of a Certificate of Clinical Reflexology (CoCR) or Diploma at a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or training accepted by the RAoA or has applied for and been assessed as competent under the RAoA Membership Assessment process.*  You are required to send us a certified copy of your qualification (see below re certification).
By completing this Membership application you confirm that:
  1. You have completed one of the required courses at an RAoA accredited college.
  2. Your qualifications included a minimum of 72 hours practical/applied reflexology training on campus and 40 hours of supervised clinic with evaluations by people attending the clinics.
  3. You have never been convicted of a criminal offence, had a complaint made against you reviewed by a complaints/disciplinary body (including other associations), been suspended or expelled from another association, or been investigated, suspended or deregistered as a provider from a health fund.
  4. Your fist aid and insurance requirements have been met and are up to date. 
  5. You are committed to on-going participation in RAoA’s Continuing Professional Training (CPT) Program.

*Please note that the RAoA does not accept students or graduates as Professional Members (PM) if their reflexology training has been completed solely by correspondence without the required minimum hours of hands-on practicum.   
Qualifications can be certified by the following persons who are authorised to witness/certify (under the Commonwealth Statutory Declarations Act 1959) and include members of certain professions such as chiropractor, dentist, legal practitioner, Justice of the Peace, medical practitioner, nurse and pharmacist.
