PRESENTATIONS

  1. XANTHE ASHTON “Cranio-Sacral Reflexology” will: 

    ● Present an overview: background & history of Cranio-sacral Reflexology. 

    ● Demonstrate that Cranio-Sacral Therapy is a light touch therapy that enhances the flow of cerebrospinal fluid around the brain and along the spinal cord. 

    ● CST can remedy the restrictions caused by trauma, injury and disease, and restore balance throughout the body. 

    ● Demonstrate the integration of Cranio-Sacral Reflexology in our business/practices specifically for the treatment of trauma, stress, children with sensory processing disorders, colic in babies, headaches, recovery from head injuries, neck and back pain, whiplash and injuries. 

  2. JAYNE TANCRED “Promoting Your Business on Social Media” / 2.5 hours – 1st hour lecture style – 1.5 hours practical and group work – bring your device (laptop/iPad/Smartphone). 
  3. HARUMI MACPHAIL – 1 hour immersive Japanese Singing Bowls session. 

    Participants are advised to wear loose-fitting clothing and to bring a yoga mat/reflexology chair, blanket and pillow (anything you need to lie or sit comfortably) for the duration of the Japanese Sound Bowls presentation. Please bring a re-fillable water bottle to maintain hydration.

    5 mins Welcome & Introduction

    15 mins Demonstration & Sound Healing for chakra activation/gentle release of shoulder & upper body tension

    5 mins Preparation ahead of Sound Bath

    30 mins Sound bath experience – lying face down & turning onto back

    5 mins Gradual awakening, return to awareness and closing.

PRESENTERS:

XANTHE ASHTON – UK trained Reflexologist (2002) Held leadership roles including President, VP, & Secretary of Reflexology NZ. Awarded Reflexologist of the Year 2017 and Life Member 2020. Founder Canterbury School of Reflexology, own RNZ-accredited Diploma course. Additionally, Xanthe coordinates the training programme on CranioSacral Therapy for the Upledger Institute in NZ. 

2. JAYNE TANCRED – Co-Founder of Tribe of The Tree – Jayne is a Naturopath, energetic healer and complementary medicine manufacturing specialist with more than 30 years experience making, marketing and selling natural health products. Jayne established her natural health copywriting and marketing consultancy in 2008. Jayne understands fully the ins and outs of running a complementary practice as well as how reflexologists can market and promote their products and practice. 

3. HARUMI MACPHAIL – A natural therapy practitioner for over 15 years Harumi, who hails from Japan, has been a professional member of the RAoA for 9 years and a Sound Healing Therapist for over 5. Harumi is a Bach Flower Foundation registered Practitioner with over 10 years experience in integrating emotional and energetic wellbeing into holistic practice. Additionally, Harumi runs her busy practice HealingTree by Harumi in Manly, NSW.
