I practise a number of different reflexology techniques including Ingham, Ayurvedic, Facial, Oriental, Relaxation, TCM, Maternity, Colour, Lymphatic Drainage, Acupressure, and also techniques which may assist with symptoms associated with cancer.
I tailor your session to work on relevant issues and utilise my knowledge and experience in nursing and other modalities to enhance the benefits of reflexology.
My website provides more details on the different techniques utilised.
I'm always exploring new ways of working and broadening my knowledge and experience so that I have a variety of techniques to utilise in addressing your issues.
My current involvement in the RAoA includes serving in the position of Co Chairperson of the Queensland Branch and as a member of the Research Committee.
My first encounter with natural therapies was when I was working in a small health centre in county Mayo, Ireland and was introduced to yoga and massage. At that time I had completed my nursing training in Australia and, after returning to Australia, I continued nursing for many years while exploring reflexology, aromatherapy, massage and health promotion.
In 2013 I extended my practice in the field of health and wellbeing and commenced a natural therapies practice. As a wholistic practitioner, I am aware of the importance of balance in our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual lives.
I aim to provide a relaxing reflexology session, while also focusing on any health issues of concern and assisting to balance the body systems.
I work on Thursday and Friday at 2 Luxford Street, Kearneys Spring, Toowoomba.
I offer evening appointments on some Thursdays and Fridays and look forward to meeting you.
