Our Speakers

DOT NEEMS "Reflexology and the Kansa Bowl"

Dot will give a short talk on the role of the ‘Kansa Bowl’, Kansa means Bronze and is known as the healing metal in Ayurveda.

A short Practical session will follow so each participant can experience the Kansa Bowl for themselves. We will have use of 8 bowls, therefore, depending on the number of attendees, participants will work in pairs or groups of 3 to 4 so everyone can experience using the bowl on each other.

Feet

During the practical session we will be working from the feet up to the knee of the body, it is a good idea to wear loose clothing that can be rolled up to the knee so you can receive and experience these techniques yourself.

Participants will need to bring:

- Wipes
- Towel (bath size)
- A massage table for this is best, alternatively a La Fuma chair or similar
- Therapy stool if you have one, otherwise standing will be ok

SARAH HOEY "Incorporating Ice Into Your Reflexology Practice"

Sarah will give a short talk about how, why and when she would use ice with a client, this will be followed by a practical demonstration.  Participants will then be able to practice on each other in pairs.

Sarah has been known to treat clients with ice as they sat under a tree in a park so if we do not have enough chairs/tables to create pairs we can always improvise!! Bags/packs of ice will be supplied.

Participants will need to bring:
