Topic: The Brain in Cranial Sacral Reflexology

About the presentation

In this 40 minute theory and 20 min practical hour Lynn will discuss the application of reflexology for Consciousness State of min based on Dr Martine Frau Alderson’s (Deceased) 'The Brain in Cranial Sacral Reflexology'.   Attendees will gain increased  knowledge of the benefits of reflexology on the Brain. Lynn will demonstrate the first 19 steps of the Brain in Cranial Sacral Reflexology, which has a large impact on all  reflexology treatments to increase the state of Consciousness

About the presenter

Lynn is a professional  Reflexologist qualified in 2015.  She studied under Martine Alderson for a 4 day workshop in Ireland in 2017 and received a participation certificate on the completion of the 4 full day study/workshop. She presently incorporates the 19 step modality in every treatment she gives.  The feedback from clients on the use of full protocols is clearer thinking.

Parkinson clients benefit greatly in all aspects of their life.  Improvement  increases with each consecutive treatment. Clients leave feeling less anxious, less shaky, experience speach improvement and overall general wellness.

Please bring wipes, towel, small pillow and foot lotion

Presenter:  Ronel Spence

Topic: Hand Reflexology Practice Refresher Demonstration

About the presentation

This one hour hand reflexology practice refresher session is aimed at qualified Reflexologists with an understanding of the principles and application of pressure point treatments.  This session is a hands-on experience and does not provide any formal qualification or advancement.

This refresher session will address the reflexology hand map and treatment sequence to refresh participants skills.  More focus will be applied to the client & practitioner hand positioning and applying the principles of hand treatments.  Practice duration will be determined on the day, and will aim to provide each person an opportunity to practice a hand sequence.  Refresher instructions will be provided on the day.

Reflexology treatment applied to hands combined with massage and pressure points provide a stimulating treatment in any scenario or location.  The benefits of hand reflexology are simply that it is the most accessible part of the body and can be conducted anywhere.  Clients may prefer a hand session as an alternative or introduction to Foot Reflexology treatments

About the presenter

Ronel completed her Reflexology training in Macclesfield UK as a Diploma in Holistic Therapy.  After her training she completed a Palliative Reflexology at the Manchester Oncology unit and learned basic techniques on providing short treatments to patients on the ward.

She came to Australia in 2011 and after full re-assessment by RAOA continued to provide services at St Johns Oncology unit, local Aged Care Facilities, ran a small therapy room and provide volunteer services. She is currently providing volunteer services to promote Reflexology in the community.

What to bring:  (keep it simple, the idea is to have a minimum setup)

for hygiene reasons, bring your own towels for bolster to take home after the session, and

hand cream or massage oil.

Sanitiser will be provided at the workshop, or bring your own if preferred.

Presenter: Cordula Blood

Topic: Reflexology Lymph Drainage - RLD

About the presentation

This is a one hour presentation (combination of theory and brief demonstration of RLD on feet (on a volunteer) or hand (self help). RLD is a unique lymph drainage technique for Reflexologists developed by Sally Kay. The workshop will give a brief summary of the importance of the lymphatic system and how it works. It will also tell Sally’s story and how she came up with RLD. I will also talk about my journey with RLD since I did her course in 2017. Part of the presentation will also be a demonstration of the RLD sequence on the feet of a volunteer and/or as self-help on the practitioner’s own hands.

Knowledge about RLD is a great tool to have in the reflexology tool kit. The focus on the lymphatic system is not only important for your immune system but also your cardiovascular and digestive system.

Being able to use RLD not only on clients with lymphatic imbalances because of cancer treatments but also with various health problems (e.g., inflammatory auto-immune disorders, pregnancy, premenstrual fluid retention etc.)  but also on yourself with RLD on your hands makes it a great self-help tool as well.

About the presenter

Cordula has been a qualified Reflexology practitioner for 10 years and RLD trained since 2017. Running her own business Footprints of the Mind and working at Solaris Cancer Care as a volunteer for about nine years she treated a lot of cancer patients with lymphatic problems. She also has experience with elder patients who are not mobile anymore and RLD helped to reduce swelling of their feet and ankles.
