11:00am -12:30pm   EMMETT Technique for Foot Care by Leanne Connally

The EMMETT Technique is a gentle, muscle release therapy that offers rapid and effective relief from tension and discomfort.  The EMMETT Technique uses light pressure at specific points to trigger a natural relaxation response in the muscles, promoting better alignment and circulation.

For reflexologists, integrating the EMMETT into foot care routines can enhance client outcomes by addressing soft tissue imbalances and improving foot mobility.  Ideal for clients with foot fatigue, plantar fasciitis, or mobility restrictions, the EMMETT offers a supportive, non-invasive addition to your reflexology practice helping feet feel freer, lighter, and more responsive.  Leanne will present how Reflexologists can integrate the EMMETT technique into reflexology practice.

Leanne Connally

Andy Bryant

Andy Bryant is a podiatrist working in Melbourne, Australia, with over 25 years of private practice experience.  He operates Melbourne Natural Podiatry, where he combines traditional podiatry with a “natural foot function” or “barefoot/minimal footwear” approach.

His more recent practice emphasizes the biopsychosocial model of health, plus strength and mobility rehab.  Instead of just “more supportive shoes” or rigid foot orthotics, he focuses on restoring foot function via movement, strength, lifestyle & footwear changes.

Andy is involved in foot health education: he consults, runs talks/podcasts, and is the head podiatrist with The Foot Collective.
